A Little Piece of Heaven

I have heard my husband preach, teach, and even rant and rave about the manifest presence of God, and about the signs and wonders that often accompanies the glory of God's presence.

Despite those who preached against the signs and wonders, and the religious spirit that attempted to silence his voice, his persistent voice kept declaring the goodness and glory of our Heavenly father. 

"Heaven on Earth is not just a religious cliché", he would shout, "It's suppose to be a reality - and it can be if we pray for it to come to pass!"   If I have heard Wayne say it once I have heard it a thousand times, and I am sure I will hear it thousands more.  However, after Saturday night, I may be declaring it more and more myself as well!

We were driving home from a business conference, and had a nearly 4-hour trip ahead of us.  Wayne put in a Jason Upton worship CD and we were listening to track seven, "Fly" - when we felt such an overwhelming presence of God.  I have never felt such a presence in my life before.

"I felt like an angel was actually in the car with us", I told Wayne.  "It may still be in here", he replied.  I felt such a sweet and loving presence and Wayne's forehead and both palms were literally hot to the touch.  We took some more time to worship God and simply soak in his presence as the waves of glory kept rolling over us.

About an hour later we pulled off the exit at a fast food restaurant, and as Wayne turned on the light to get some money out for the order, I looked down on my dress and could not believe what was before my eyes!  But before I share this with you, let me share with you just a little more information.

Our discussion during the time the music was playing was on the supernatural manifestations of gold dust, gems, and the other phenomenon that is taking place at some of the prophetic conferences around the world.  Wayne had seen the 'gold dust' twice while at the Todd Bentley conference in Concord, NC a few months ago.

"I believe in it", I told him," but I would like to see it somewhere other than a conference, where you expect to see it.  Maybe at our local church or somewhere you are not expecting it."   I never expected God to manifest Gold or anything at this time, we were not seeking for anything, and we were just listening to the music and talking about the possibilities of an unlimited God.

Back to the fast food restaurant where we just stopped to order - while Wayne cut on the interior light to get some money out for the order I saw the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life.  My leg was covered with Gold dust!  I was absolutely shocked and was showing Wayne my leg when he told me to look at my dress.  My black dress was sparkling with Gold dust from the top to bottom, and then as Wayne turned my hand over I saw the Gold dust all over my palms and up and down my fingers!  I have never seen such an amazing display of glory manifest like this dust that had appeared.  We quickly checked Wayne and the car's interior but found none anywhere else.  We continued to praise God and I could hardly hold back my tears, I have always believed, and always felt close to God, but never like this before!  I felt safe in this presence.  I did not see an Angel, but felt like one was right there in the car with us.  As I said this was the most amazing thing I had ever experienced, until. 

Just a few minutes later I am simply holding back the tears and simply staring at what was happening, and Wayne was in the background trying to help me understand something that neither of us could honestly understand.  Then God showed off just a little more!  While looking at my husbands pants again, which had no Gold dust whatsoever on them, I literally saw the Gold dust manifest out of thin air, right in front of my eyes!  We both saw it happen immediately before our eyes!  And even a few small flakes were on his hands.  This was an absolute miracle and the 4-hour drive home seemed as if was only a few moments in time!

I have heard "Heaven on Earth" preached many times recently, yet it took on a whole new meaning when I saw it come upon me.  This was literally a little bit of Heaven that God or an angel brought down upon me, God thought that much of me and our conversation, and that Love he has for us his children is the true miracle.  I want everyone to understand that I grew up in a very conservative Baptist church and home and even though I never understood a lot of the charismatic or Pentecostal beliefs, I never discredited or denied them.  I am not limiting what God can do, or how he does it, when he shows his love and Glory with us his children. 

I had pieces of the literal Heaven on me, and on my husband - without seeking it and without asking for it.  That my friend is a God that loves me and a God I can believe in!  Heaven is so real - and He wants to bring it to our earth, and by the way, He is bringing it!  Praise God!

Job 22:21-25

21 Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. 22 Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.  23 If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.  24 Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. 25 Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.
