I remember laughing at the "crazy old lady" who was speaking in tongues... My Aunt quickly corrected me with a stern look and voice!  Now, I was 8 years old and really had no clue what was going on... I was a child.

Sadly, we have too many "children" in the body of Christ today. The Apostle Paul told us to not be ignorant concerning the spiritual gifts - my friend this includes the gift of tongues. 

Now, I will not cover the full teaching on speaking in tongues, yet I hope to inspire those of you who do not speak in tongues - to begin, and those who do pray in tongues - to pray more!

I urge you to go back and read the book of Acts - read it and you can begin to realize that the early church was formed and people spoke in tongues.

"But that is not for me Pastor Wayne..."  

It is for you .  The Apostle Paul said that he desired for all to pray in tongues, and he also tells us not to despise the prophetic utterances.  When you pray in tongues you edify (or build-up) yourself - and with praying in tongues you receive power and prophetic revelation!  *more on this later...
