The Lord spoke to me clearly about TheSecondAdam.com and our prophetic counseling -"Comfort my people..." This is our heart as send out every e-mail, as we counsel, as we pray, AND as we are comforted by the Lord through our own trials and situations.
Have you faced trials and tribulations? Are you facing something now? The word of God reminds us in 2 Corinthians that the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ comforts us in all of our tribulations - that we may be able to comfort those who are any trouble.
2 Corinthians 1:3-7
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles
, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
6 If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7 And our hope for you is firm
, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.
*I ask you to look carefully at the highlighted parts of this passage - we will face tribulation. Yet, we will receive comfort from the Lord and through one another. You are not alone my friend - and you will find comfort and hope as you place your trust upon the Lord.
I pray that now - even as you read this, you find yourself resting and receiving HIS glory, power, and comfort! And as you are comforted, remember to also comfort those in need. God Bless You!
