One of the greatest roadblocks to our destiny is our own "opinions" and how we act or react to God's word - based on those opinions.

Frank H. came to me for counsel several years ago, and has returned several times since our first meeting.  I have yet to meet someone with such an inner drive and ambition, a hungry Christian with many prophetic words spoken over his life.

Destiny and purpose seemed guaranteed. Yet, there was no fruit showing after years and years of praying, fasting, and striving.  Does this sound familiar?

We all run into "prophetic roadblocks" at times as the enemy is hard at work attempting to derail our life.  Yet, to continue facing the same roadblock is usually an indicator, a sign that we may to self-examine and surrender an area in our life for the fruit to finally sprout forth.

One the prophetic roadblocks a person can face is "opinions" - We too often feel our opinion (and thus our decisions) are also God's opinion.  Remember that God's thoughts are always higher than the thoughts of man.  Personally, I don't want a God that succumbs to my opinions, but a I choose to surrender my opinions and accept God's truth.

Frank has yet to surrender his opinions and "feelings" to embrace the truth of God's word - thus his opinions have become a roadblock.  His situation seems to be a vicious cycle, yet God may be working to transform Frank before he releases Frank into the next season. 

Too often a person can be narrow-minded and dogmatic about revelations and prophetic promises.  Humble yourselves and allow God to mold your heart and your opinions... this is a key to your success in your destiny.
