This Morning Was A Lesson...
This morning I walked out my house, grabbed my I-pad and swiftly slammed the door. I am ready for a day of counseling, ministering, and continuing my week of bold and specific prayers!
And then... It hit me that I had now locked my very secure door - with my keys locked in my home.
Well, now I have 2 options - wake up the wife or wait a few hours until she happens to wake up and notices me outside.
So, the door knocking, doorbell ringing, and cell phone calls began!
I knocked repeatedly... repeatedly... and then again.
I called and called... and then rang the doorbell again and again... And then some more.
Finally my lovely wife awoke and let me in...
Ask - Seek - Knock... I did it all I as I was out in the dark. Yet as I was waiting (and praying) I heard the Holy Spirit speak... Your Persistent Prayers.
See I was able to "receive my promise" by being willing to pound upon the door until... I didn't knock once, call one, or even ring the door bell once.
But I continued until my answer arrived.
My bold prayers are following the same pattern...
I intercede, I decree, I ask, I even negotiate (that is biblical by the way) - yet I continue - until.
Did the Holy Spirit lock me out to teach me a valuable lesson? Maybe. Maybe not.
Yet, I still received the lesson - and today I am boldly praying yet again - what about you? Are you with me expecting the miracle to come forth today?
I believe in you - keep on knocking on Heaven's door, he will open up for you!
