The Christian church is overflowing with believers who have accepted Jesus as their savior and have made a lifestyle of working for the Lord, and yet have fallen dreadfully short of building any form of relationship with him.  

The Christian church is filled with faithful believers viewing Jesus as some distant deity that somehow stretched out a hand to pull them out of a future hell, and granted them a key to an eternal paradise.  Too many people have taken their "get out of hell free pass" and their key to the pearly gates of utopia, and then totally ignored the calling of Jesus to know him, to seek him, and to love him.

Who will be found standing among the remnant of believers that have one leg standing ready for battle, with another knee bent in worship and humility? 

Will you found among those with their mouth open shouting praises to the highest and tongue silenced awaiting the calling of the Lord? 

Will you be among the crowd of believers that only know a Jesus of theology and history, a savior that you can place as a painting on the wall, or upon your favorite bookmark?  Or, just maybe you are willing to go a little bit further in your search for a God that's more than another stained and weathered bookmark?

Are you willing?

The word Holy is widespread in the Christian walk. Unfortunately, it is often used in vain. But when we recognize and appreciate the love of Jesus for us, we will begin to understand and fully appreciate the word and it is my prayer for this article.
