We often become amazed as we talk about and hear about the supernatural miracles of God.
For a moment today I want us to look "beyond" the immediate miracle... placing ourselves in the lives of those who are healed, and their family.
"In the name of Jesus I command the spirit of blindness to leave and eye be healed!"
The eye opened up and the young boy could see again!
Praying over this child was a blessing to me, a blessing to the child obviously, and to all the people in Greensboro, NC that night who witnessed the power of God.
Yet, I often think about
the family after they left the prayer and healing meeting. Day after day they had to help their son in every aspect of their life because of his blindness. Until... until the manifest power of God through authority brought healing.
Healing changes the life long after "the moment" of the miracle. Can you imagine the tears of joy every time the child's mom
watches her son live a normal life?! Can you imagine her sharing the miracle story with her friends and family? The nay-sayers may doubt, until they see her son healed and able to run and play because he can finally see! The rest of his life has been changed, even after the miracle story - God cares about the moment - and all of the moments thereafter...
Would you cry if this was your son? Your daughter? You? Will you make a decision to look beyond the miracle and see God's live in all areas of the life of those healed and needing healing?
We owe the world an example of the Supernatural... we owe the world HIS LOVE.
