-- It is time to get real about healing and about taking care of ourselves!

 Cancer.  That one word brings fear to many people everyday.  And it takes the lives of so many people - premature death from a disease that runs rampant today.

 A few days ago I was watching a commercial for a very "lively" commercial for a popular Arthritis drug - and oh how beautiful life could be with this wonderful drug... I saw birds flying, the woman smiling as she planted flowers, small children jumping into her arms, and even a smile and hug from her husband..

 So, if you have Arthritis - and take this wonderful pill, you can enjoy the wonderful outdoors, smile as grandchildren run at your feet, enjoy the wonderful flowers of your garden, and even enjoy a great romantic relationship with your spouse!  

 WOW - sign me up, right?  Not hardly.

 ONE  of the MANY side-effects just happens to be Lymphatic Cancer - the commercial failed to show the patient in the hospital facing chemotherapy, facing pain of cancer, and facing death... remember they had to make time for the flower garden... We are poisoning ourselves in the disguise of health care?

 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." Hosea 4:6

 Do I respect doctors and the healthcare system?  To a point.

Is there a need for healthcare today?  Sadly, yes.

However, why are we so quick to jump to BIG PHARMA and let the "treat" our ailments, when the master physician JESUS has pad for our sickness with his bare flesh and blood?

That is worth repeating, so look very close.... "Your sickness and disease has been dealt with by the blood and bare flesh of Jesus Christ - done!" 

BIG PHARMA wants you hooked on pills for the rest of your life, pouring money into their hands, and assuring you with fluffy cloud commercials and the promise of a wonderful life.  I personally consider their ads an insult to my intelligence. 

Have I personally consumed their pills and potions, yes.  However, I refuse to remain on any of their medicines long-term that could have side effects ranging from liver failure to cancer!

There is a better way. 

I choose to believe in Jesus Christ for healing, and I believe in being a steward over the health he has given to me... more on this in future newsletters.

Decide to stay healthy.  Decide to trust in Jesus, and not Big Pharma. 

Now for my disclaimer, before stopping medicines - pray and talk with your medical provider.  However, when talking with your medical provider, demand all side effects be made known before you jump on board the pharmaceutical bandwagon.

I believe in you, and I believe in Jesus Christ in you!
