Are You Eating The Seeds of Promise?
As a man soweth he shall reap... Yes? Of course.
The Bible is full of promises... and the
promise of sowing and receiving is just that - a promise.
The book of Genesis tells us that every seed produces after its own kind. Every seed, every time,
promised.
So why do we see lack in the areas that we need? Could it be because we have mistaken the seed for the harvest? Are we consuming the seeds, eating the seeds, instead of planting them for the harvest?
A new popular snack lately is pumpkin seeds, and they not only taste good but are also healthy. Yet, it would be insanity to eat the seed and then go outside and look for a harvest!? If you eat
(consume) the seed then how can it be planted and multiply?
What areas in your life do you need a harvest?
Finances? Relationships?
Ask yourself, "Am I eating the seeds?" God promised he would give seed to the sower - that is his promise. Are we planting for a harvest or consuming the promise before it is birthed forth?
"Lord, we thank you for the seeds and for the harvest, in all areas of our life. May we be great stewards of your seeds, of the harvest, and for your Kingdom!"
