There are times when God wants to speak and share revelation with us as his children, yet we drown out his voice with our own predetermined agenda and "conversation" with our heavenly Father. 

It is almost like we say to God, "Okay, here I am to worship you in prayer - but before you try to speak God, let me tell you what to talk about..."

Crazy, right?  Yet, I see that in almost every single person that I counsel.  There is a better way!

A few years ago I was battling IBS and in the past had battled some other digestive issues.  Fasting, praying, even deliverance to see if there were any spiritual reasons, and of course I had many people pray over me.  It would get better, and then the issues would return and I would begin over again and again.  Sound familiar?

God brought me an answer of healing, yet in a time I was not really seeking or asking... I was actually sitting in my car one day simply praying and talking to God, worshiping him without a specific agenda or outcome in mind.  As I prayed and worshiped I began to hear that soft small voice from my Father.  It wasn't a long prophetic word, nor was it an audible loud booming voice.  And, the words God spoke did not seem to make any sense to begin with.......
