The Missing Link! - Sherry Evans

The Lord is raising up a company of believers with hunger within them to see the miraculous in a deeper way. If you are reading this, I believe you are one of that company.

God has placed a dream in your heart to see limbs grow back, cancer healed, the dead raised, and thousands run to Jesus. Many of you long to travel to the nations and  to be those that “turn the world upside-down.” You may have received prophetic words of future ministry. However, as time has gone by, you have become discouraged.

It could be that you have your own challenges. You have prayed and prayed about them, but you have not yet come into a place of peace.

There is often a missing link between the promise and the fulfillment of the promise! The same link may be missing between the prayer and the peace!

Abraham and Sarah had a promise of a child. However,  it was 25 years before that child was born! How did Abraham stay in faith for so many years?  The answer is found in Romans 4:20:

“Nor did he in unbelief stagger at God’s promise, but became mighty in faith, giving glory to God,”

Do you see it? He became mighty in faith through giving glory to God! Without thanksgiving, our prayers can often become nothing more than unbelieving whining.

Thank Him, thank Him, thank Him for what You are believing for! Thank Him for every person who will be healed of cancer. Thank Him for empty wheel chairs. Thank Him for every soul that will come to know Him. Just continuously thank Him!While you are doing that, be faithful right where you are. Minister healing to everyone who will allow you. Go for it!

When you thank God for what you have not yet experienced, you give voice to your faith and it is strengthened. His peace will flow.

Php 4:6 Do not be over-anxious about anything, but by prayer and earnest pleading, together with thanksgiving, let your request be unreservedly made known in the presence of God. And then the peace of God, which transcends all our powers of thought, will be a garrison to guard your hearts and minds in union with Christ Jesus.

With you to see the captive set free,
