Even Jesus said it’s impossible not to offend.  

So, why will this article offend?

Because it’s based upon the word of God and goes so far against the religious system today – I am sure a few religious spirits and mindsets will be upset.

Before we continue I am asking you to go grab your Bible, yep your Bible, and turn to Romans 4:8 – and then read the verse – slowly… (I am not placing it here – you read it from your own Bible) 

This verse is not preached a lot today… why?  Most preachers do not understand the passage – or they simply choose to ignore it.

One of the main problems I see during our counseling sessions is guilt and shame from areas of condemnation!  Although the word of God reminds us that we are not under condemnation – the enemy is very active in his attempt to place us back under the spell of self-disciplining religion.

As a believer you have been JUSTIFIED from your sins.  You are no longer under condemnation and here is the really important point…YOUR SINS are no longer held against you!  What?  Read that again… and back to Romans 4:8 – your SINS are no longer imputed or held against you!

But Pastor Wayne, you don’t understand my sins…maybe not.  Yet, I do know that the word of God promises us that our sins are not imputed against us.  What more can I say?  Don’t you LOVE grace?
