If you will spend all of eternity with Jesus, shouldn't we take time in the NOW, to discover who he truly is?

All of my life I have been taught that once I leave this earthly realm I will encounter an eternity with a God who loves me and has went forth to prepare a place for me.  

It is a promise of a great God, and it gives us hope and faith for tomorrow... However, many people who cry out about their God and their eternity with this Lord, have yet to learn just who they will spend eternity with.

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." - John 14:3

Yes, we know that Jesus is our Lord and King, yet do we KNOW him?

Have we surrendered out hearts and our life to the transforming power of Holy Spirit...

"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Corinthians 3:18

Have we said NO to anything that would take our focus and heart away from Jesus?
