I was driving to work one morning with my eyes on the traffic while thoughts of a coffee kept my attention.  I had a preacher giving a sermon from the radio and I was simply hoping to get to work on time.  I was not seeking a word from the Lord, I was not seeking a vision, and I was not caught up in the spirit at all.  

 

 

"Watch the stoplights.  Watch the stoplights, they will stay green as you watch them."  Hmmm... unique word from God.  I was really hoping they would now, so I could make the coffee shop in time before work.  But why did this matter to God, or at least why was he talking to me about it? 

 

"Watch the stoplights."  So I obeyed.  Green... Green... Green... Oh no, this one always catches me.... Green!  Green!  And then I heard the preacher speak and this time he caught my attention!  

 

"WHAT YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOU WILL ATTRACT", the preacher spoke. - hmmm... sounds like the law of attraction to me.  He sort of has my attention now since the word the Lord just spoke into my spirit.

 

"When you acknowledge something you will attract more of it, this is one of the keys of the Kingdom of God.  This is one way you bring Heaven down to earth."  Now he has my attention, but it gets better!

 

The preacher continued, " When you acknowledge RED LIGHTS for example, and the lack of GREEN LIGHTS - you will only see more and more RED LIGHTS. What you have is a lack of green lights.  And those who do not have, even what they have will be taken away.  T o those who do have, they will have more."  Wow.  Not only had God spoken through my life about a simple stoplight, he had confirmed it through the very preacher I was listening to - and he used STOPLIGHTS in both.   

 

God was showing me a key to the Kingdom, what you acknowledge (attentive knowledge) you will have more of - what you IGNORE you will have less of!

 

This is why so many Christians who truly love God are facing poverty (they acknowledge their lack) and sickness (they acknowledge their lack of health).  

 

Acknowledge the provider (you have wealth within you) and acknowledge the healing (within you) - even if it is only a little health or a little wealth now,  ACKNOWLEDGE IT and you will have more!  To those who have, more will be given!  

 

I believe the green lights not only served as a confirmation, they also I believe were a "Green Light" a prophetic GO!  For the message of God's Kingdom on earth must be preached!  What are you acknowledging?
